    • Possession of a degree in Speech Therapy from a Higher Technological Educational Institution (ATEI) in Greece, or
    • A foreign degree recognized by the Interdisciplinary Organization for the Recognition of Academic Degrees and Information (D.O.A.T.A.P.) as equivalent to Greek speech therapy degrees.
  2. Language Proficiency: Proficiency in the Greek language is mandatory, typically at a C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
  3. Professional Qualifications:
    • For citizens of EU member states who have acquired professional qualifications in another member state, these qualifications must be recognized by the competent Greek authority.
  4. Criminal Record:
    • The applicant must not have been irrevocably convicted of a felony or specific misdemeanors, including theft, embezzlement, fraud, extortion, forgery, grievous bodily harm, or violations related to drugs or ethical provisions.
  5. Administrative Procedures:
    • Submission of an application and solemn declaration (as per article 8 of Law 1599/1986) announcing the commencement of practicing the profession of speech therapist.
    • Payment of administrative fees, including a €30 administrative fee and an €8 stamp duty.
